RF Magnetics

Coilcraft RF Magnetics are a broad range of high-performance, surface-mount RF Magnetic components. These RF Magnetics include high-Q/tight-tolerance ceramic-core and high-inductance ferrite-core chip inductors as small as 0201 (0603) size; ultra-high Q, high current, non-magnetic air core inductors; bias/broadband inductors and chokes; broadband RF transformers; and RFID transponder coils. Coilcraft also offers fixed and tunable through-hole inductors. The components range in inductance from 500pH to 14.8mH with maximum DC currents from 30mA to 13.4A.

Square Air Core Low Inductance RF Inductors

Coilcraft Square Air Core Low Inductance RF Inductors feature excellent Q factors of up to 130 and current ratings from 2.7A to 4.4A. These lower inductance models offer 20x values from 5.5nH to 27nH. Each value is available at 5% and 2% tolerance in 7" machine-ready reel or less-than-full-reel packaging. The halogen-free RF inductors use solder-coated leads to ensure reliable soldering and have an ambient temperature rating from -40° to +125°C. Coilcraft square air core lower inductance RF inductors use a flat top/bottom design for reliable pick and place and mechanical stability.

Surface-Mount Air Core Inductors

Coilcraft Surface-Mount Air Core Inductors are available in a wide variety of inductance and current ratings. Inductance values range from 1.65nH up to 538nH with tolerances as low as 2%. Sample kits are also available. Coilcraft Surface-Mount Air Core Inductors feature a square shape and are designed to be compatible with pick-and-place machines.

Square Air Core RF Inductors

Coilcraft Square Air Core RF Inductors feature solder-coated leads, excellent Q factors, and cover inductance values ranging from 5.5nH to 500nH. These RF inductors use a flat top and bottom design for reliable pick and place as well as added mechanical stability. Coilcraft square air core RF inductors include lower and higher inductance models. Sample kits are available, containing 10x each of all parts with 5% tolerance.
