MP5092 Dual Load Switches

Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MP5092 Dual Load Switches provide load protection in the 0.5V to 5.5V range. Each channel can work alone and offers 7.5A load capacity. The small R_DSON and small QFN-18 package deliver a highly efficient solution for notebook, tablet, and portable device applications. MPS MP5092 Dual Load Switches feature a soft-start function to avoid inrush current during startup. Other functions include programmable soft-start time, output discharge functions, overcurrent protection (OCP), and thermal shutdown. The maximum load at the output is current limited, which is accomplished by utilizing a sense FET topology. The magnitude of the current limit is controlled by an external resistor from ILIM pin to ground.
