RPMB-2.0 & RPMB-3.0 Switching Regulator Modules

RECOM Power RPMB-2.0 and RPMB-3.0 Switching Regulator Modules offer up to 36V input voltage in a compact LGA footprint with a low profile (12.2mm x 12.2mm x 3.75mm). These 2A non-isolated SMD switching regulator power modules feature adjustable output from 1V up to 24V, on/off control, sense, and power good output signals. RECOM Power RPMB-2.0 and RPMB-3.0 modules provide an efficiency of up to 94%, which remains nearly constant over a 5% to 100% load range. These devices can operate at ambient temperatures as high as +100°C without forced air cooling. The package provides six-sided shielding for optimal EMC performance and heat management. The fully protected modules (UVLO, SCP, OCP, OTP) can drive high capacitive loads of up to 0.2F.

3D Power Packaging for Low Power DC/DC Converters

RECOM Power has implemented 3D assembly techniques to utilize the Z-axis in its next-generation of DC/DC converter modules. DC/DC converter modules are required to be handled, placed, and soldered like a standard SMT component while maintaining a low profile to match modern electronic devices. Therefore, the footprint must remain small to be superior over using a converter module instead of a discrete design.

SMD Isolated Power Modules

RECOM Power SMD Isolated Power Modules provide flexible gate drive bias voltages, ensuring high efficiency and system reliability. These isolated modules offer multiple input ranges depending on the selected variant and temperature range. Each part features two fully regulated outputs that can be user-programmed as asymmetric positive and negative values or as a single positive or negative value to meet requirements for various gate drive voltages. Additional features include various protections, such as input undervoltage and overvoltage lockout, overtemperature, output overload, undervoltage, and overvoltage. RECOM Power SMD Isolated Power Modules are suitable for building and home automation, datacom, energy, automation, and infrastructure.
