Ceramic Disc Safety Capacitors

Vishay Ceramic Disc Safety Capacitors include X1/Y1 and X1/Y2 rated ceramic caps with IEC, UIL, CAS, and CQC certificates. X1/Y2 rated ceramic caps feature a 10pF to 12nF capacitance range. X1/Y1 rated caps feature a 10pF to 20nF capacitance range. Vishay Ceramic Disc Safety Capacitors include AEC-Q200 rated devices.

Safety Capacitors and Resistors

Vishay Safety Capacitors and Resistors include safety-rated RFI capacitors and fusible resistors that meet the safety requirements of UL1412. Vishay Safety Capacitors consist of ceramic, MLCC, and film technologies offering a wide range of capacitance options. Vishay Safety Capacitors and Resistors include metal film fusible resistors with high surge handling capability and wirewound resistors that ensure safe and silent fusing operation in overload conditions.

Safety-Rated RFI Capacitors

Vishay Safety-Rated RFI Capacitors include film, ceramic disc, and MLCC devices. EMI suppression film capacitors offer high voltage ratings to 480VAC for across-the-line applications. AY2 Series AC Rated Safety Capacitors

Vishay AY2 Series AC Rated Safety Capacitors are AEC-Q200 qualified and designed to provide high reliability for Class X1 (440VAC) and Y2 (300VAC) automotive applications in accordance with IEC 60384-14.3, 3rd edition. Featuring U2J, Y5S, and Y5U ceramic dielectrics, the AY2 series is optimized for on-board chargers and battery management in electric cars and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV), in addition to high-reliability industrial applications. The capacitors offer a capacitance range from 10pF to 4700pF with tolerances down to ±10% over a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C.
