Filters for Medical Devices

TE Connectivity / Schaffner Filters for Medical Devices offer single- and dual-stage modules in an ultra-compact, user-friendly design. In medical technology, a variety of devices need to meet strict guidelines and must always work reliably. Schaffner offers a variety of EMC/EMI filters that meet the highly demanding requirements associated with these applications. The filters help ensure the proper, continuous and safe operation of medical devices. These filters feature up to a 250VAC voltage rating and have a maximum permissible leakage current of 0.1mA in normal operation. TE Connectivity / Schaffner Filters for Medical Devices include EMC/EMI Components, Power Line Filters, and EMC/EMI Filters.

FN2000 AC/DC EMI Filters

TE Connectivity / Schaffner FN2000 Series EMI Filters provide electromagnetic interference attenuation ranging from standard to very high. The filters support various terminal options and are available in both single- and two-stage configurations. TE Connectivity / Schaffner FN2000 EMI filters are rated for currents of 1A to 60A and can operate in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +100°C. The FN2000 series includes models designed for medical (no Y-capacitors) and safety-critical (low capacitance) applications. These filters are also available with a stud-mount option for high amperage applications.

Power Line Filters for Medical Devices

TE Connectivity / Schaffner Power Line Filters for Medical Devices pass the desired input of 50/60Hz power frequency and block the flow of "noise." All filters provide a high conducted attenuation performance (based on chokes with high-saturation resistance or high-permeable core material) and great thermal behavior. TE Connectivity / Schaffner Power Line Filters for Medical Devices meet IEC61000-4-2 ESD, IEC61000-4-3 radiated susceptibility, and IEC61000-4-8 magnetic field requirements.
