6841 Series 0.3mm Pitch FPC Connectors

KYOCERA AVX 6841 Series 0.3mm Pitch FPC Connectors are ZIF, vertical, slide-lock type FPC connectors that are best suited for the internal connection of electric equipment requiring downsizing and multiple functions. These low-profile, space-saving components feature a 3.6mm height and 2.95mm width (terminals are 2.8mm in width). Due to its vertical design, the FPC is subjected to less constraint in pulling and enables more efficient use of space on the board. KYOCERA AVX 6841 Series 0.3mm Pitch FPC Connectors are equipped with a structure to temporarily hold the FPC even when the slider is open. The slider can be locked with a simple, one-finger operation. Staggered leads on the bottom of the insulator are buried in the insulator itself to prevent the solder bridge and flux from rising in the reflow process. The series has a -40°C to +85°C operating temperature. Applications include notebook PCs, digital cameras, and digital audio players.
