Advanced Energy / Trek Monroe 282 Series Non-Contacting Static Meter is a pocket-sized, non-contacting device that delivers consistently accurate readings. The LED pulsed beam range finder identifies the calibrated distance from the surface, while the easy-to-read digital display of field strength offers quantitative data with a 100V resolution. This meter uses a chopper-stabilized measurement technique that works in the presence of ionization and provides drift-free accuracy, even in ionized environments. An optional charge plate system enables the testing of ionization systems. Advanced Energy / Trek Monroe 282 Series Non-Contacting Static Meter features a 40-hour battery life and is UL approved for use in hazardous environments, making it ideal for performing static surveys and evaluating charge accumulation in electronic manufacturing and in industrial operations.
