The SEN6x air quality sensors reduce time-to-market and cost of ownership for applications like air quality control, smart homes, building automation, variable air volume (VAV) controllers, and air purifiers.

The Sensirion SEN6x air quality sensors, now available at Mouser, can measure up to nine environmental parameters (PM1, PM2.5, PM4, PM10, RH, T, VOC Index, NOx Index, CO₂ or HCHO). The central component of the SEN6x platform is a miniaturized MEMS-based particulate matter sensing unit that integrates all the necessary building blocks for measuring PM1, PM2.5, PM4, and PM10. This chip-scale particulate matter component and patented sheath flow allow SEN6x sensors to deliver unparalleled dust protection and longevity. The compact sensors measure particulate matter or a comprehensive range of air quality parameters, such as temperature, humidity, volatile organic compounds, nitrogen oxides, CO₂, or formaldehyde. By eliminating the need for multiple sensor integrations and complex optimizations, the SEN6x air quality sensors allow customers to focus on their core competencies and create user-friendly devices. The SEN6x is suitable for applications requiring compliance with IAQ standards, such as RESET®, WELL Building Standard™ and California Title 24 Building Energy Efficiency Standards. With an operating temperature range of -10°C to +50°C, the sensors can operate continuously, 24 hours per day, for more than 10 years.

The Sensirion SEN6x air quality sensors are supported by the Sensirion SEK-SEN66 evaluation kit, also available from Mouser, which is designed to work with the SEK-SensorBridge sensing kit. The SEK-SensorBridge enables the user to connect the sensor evaluation kit to a PC and use a graphic user interface (GUI) to evaluate the device.
